I was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia and
lived there my entire life. My passion for travel began with a short trip
to London in 1997 with my dear friend Tamara and has grown with every short trip
abroad. Since that initial trip to London, I have been blessed with the
good fortune to travel to Greece, Panama, Peru, Australia, Mexico and Canada.
Most of my travels had been no more than two weeks.
In 2005, I decided to learn to ride a
motorcycle. This is not entirely surprising if you take into consideration that
my mother, stepfather, father and grandfathers all rode motorcycles at some
point in their lives. I actually remember riding to school as a small child on
my mother's bike. And of course, my ex-husband, Darren was an avid
motorcyclist and a significant influence on my decision to ride.
In April 2007, after much preparation and
diligently saving money, I resigned from my employer and sold most of my
material belongings, including my home and cars. Carefully packing
all of life's necessities on my motorcycle, I set off to experience North
America in a whole new way. I began this website to record
my experienced and share them with friends and family.
Since our divorce in 2009, I will continue to
record my own travel experiences and significant life events for anyone who is
interested. Over the years I have been very fortunate to be able to
explore various places of the world, but there is still so much to experience!
